This waiver must be agreed to by the competitor, or by a parent or legal guardian on behalf of any competitor under the age of 18, before registration can be completed.
By agreeing to this waiver, the competitor (or their parent / guardian) acknowledges and accepts the terms and conditions set out below in relation to participation in the Belfast Open 2026, organised by Full Circle Martial Arts, taking place on 20 June 2026 at Girdwood Community Hub, Belfast.
I understand and acknowledge that martial arts competition involves physical contact and carries an inherent risk of injury, including but not limited to cuts, bruises, sprains, fractures, concussion, and in rare cases, more serious injury.
I accept that these risks cannot be entirely eliminated and that participation is entirely voluntary. I accept full responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage suffered as a result of participation in this event.
I confirm that the competitor is in good physical health and is medically fit to participate in full-contact or semi-contact martial arts competition on the date of this event.
I confirm that the competitor does not have any medical condition, injury, or illness that would make participation dangerous or inadvisable, and that if in any doubt, medical advice has been sought prior to registration.
I agree to notify the event organisers immediately if the competitor's medical condition changes between registration and the event date.

Full Circle Martial Arts reserves the right to disqualify or remove any competitor whose behaviour is deemed dangerous, unsportsmanlike, or contrary to the spirit of the event, without refund of entry fees.
I consent to photographs and video footage of the competitor being taken during the event for use by Full Circle Martial Arts on social media, promotional materials, and the club website. If you do not consent to this, please notify the organisers at registration.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Full Circle Martial Arts, its coaches, officials, volunteers, and venue partners accept no liability for any injury, loss, theft, or damage to persons or property arising from participation in or attendance at the Belfast Open 2026, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
Competitors and their families are advised to ensure they have appropriate personal accident insurance in place prior to the event.
Personal information collected during registration will be used solely for the purposes of administering the Belfast Open 2026. Data will not be shared with third parties without consent and will be held in accordance with UK GDPR requirements.
